I think it should be a raffle in my opinion makes more people feel special like next time. or the winner can feel special cause them and only a few other's are getting it. also your not getting flooded with about 20 request's. or more.

The random raffle will more likely give you a challenge, since you wouldn't subconsciously pick the easiest/most familiar ref. That's similar to when people commission you - you never know what character you'll be drawing next!

The free "pick 5 refs" drawings would probably be more fun for you, though, since you'd be picking the ones that you want to draw. :P

So I leave you with this: Why not both? People can enter the raffle, you can have the 3 random-raffle prizes + an Artist's Choice prize, where you pick one ref out of the bunch that you want to draw.
