BLFC...is over now....

.....But oh my goodness what an amazing-awesome-epic con it was this year! ♥
We grew so much it's not even funny....we went from over 700 last year (which did set a record for a first con ;). Tehe) and now we're at over 1500!!! We broke even more records this year, than we did last year.....and we are now officially the 7th largest convention in the world (I believe). Even our number of suiters nearly tripled from 100-ish to nearly 500 (I think we were at 465)!!
So much dancing and partying and dancing, and hanging out with friends, and buying stuff from the dealers. It was all just amazing....I don't think I have ever danced so much in my life! My legs are still hurting like a mofo because of it...but it was SO worth it.
Hahaha we partied so hard at the dances we ended up loosening 6/7 light-bulbs from the ceiling from the much-too-much-awesome amount of base we used, shorted a section of power circuits, one of the DJ's fried his laptop.....oh, AND we shifted the dance floor over three feet, multiple times. BLFC knows how to party right! ♥♥

Now for the real treat! ^.=.^
The wonderful charity we were sponsoring this year ~SafeHaven Rescue Zoo~ got an amazing amount of money from us.
At closing ceremonies, they were brought up and asked the what the biggest donation they have ever gotten before was...They said around 8,000-ish dollars.....
AND THEN WE HAPPILY GAVE THEM A LITTLE MAKE-SHIFT CHECK WITH OVER 16,000 DOLLARS ON IT!!!!!
We made them so happy, they got all emotional ^.=.^ ...and I'm sure plenty of people in the audience did too. *cough* Not me *cough*. Made me feel good knowing we helped a good cause!

Again though, wonderful con! ♥ ♥ ♥ I loved seeing all my friends I made last year, and meeting so many new people! And I can't wait to see how it turns out next year! *crossing fingers and hoping I can make it*
I also can't believe how big BLFC became too... I'm just amazed really. :D
And yes :D very amazed, I'm so glad I chose this as my first con last year...'cause seeing it grow like this just makes it all the more amazing!
