The main thing to say about it is I've started down a road where I could potentially make some very good friends. I didn't get to know very many people very well, because I spent a lot of time wandering around aimlessly in between sleeping and eating.

There were a few small things that really made it something special though.

Reggie, you're my master and my closest friend. We didn't get to spend a lot of time together during the con, but I cherish the moments we did. :) You've always done your best to put up with me and my crazy brain. Once again you proved to be my rock of solidarity. Without you I would have been a mess.

Xaff, this was the first time we've met in person! I've known you for years through Reggie and have looked forward to meeting you, my masters husband. I'm very thankful for how graciously you allowed me into your and Reggie's life. It means the world to me, and I now consider you one of my closest friends.

Mavi, we have had our differences in the past and it was a concern of mine going into this that they may resurface. I'm very glad and grateful that we were both able to get along so well and hope it means the beginning of a good friendship.

Lakota, we didn't have any real history or knowledge of each other before rooming together. I'm really glad we got the chance to talk and hang out a little! I could tell immediately you are a very sweet, and sincere guy. Those are rare qualities lately so don't let anyone change you for anything.

Blue, your massages are amazing!! I'm really looking forward to seeing you without the crutches next time :) You seemed like an amazing person with a fantastic personality to go with it. I really hope we can become good friends in the future.

Tao, we only had a few interactions personally, but your ability to tell a story and captivate the people around you is commendable. You were a very kind host and it was fun dancing in suit with you for a bit.

Ash, you were the person who held everything steady for me. Whenever I was feeling lonely or lost you were just there to talk. I really appreciate you listening and I had fun roaming the hotel with you Monday morning.

Tig, unfortunately we did not have very many interactions.. Bit as you're a roommate to my master and his husband, I'm sure we will have plenty of time to get to know each other.

All said and done, I was very close to regretting coming to the con. I was having some personal issues dealing with some things going on around me.. But looking back, it was a good experience. I got to start building some relationships that will hopefully continue to grow through the years to come.
