Why this image was chosen - This image has been inducted into the group's hall of fame because of the wonderful perspective that dreiko has come up with. Its pretty good when you see detailed maw shots , better when you see prey in those maw shots and then you have this. The image tells a story all by itself, it makes me think of a D&D situation where an adventurer has run afoul of a very large dragon. The tiger soldier is hanging on after a last ditch attempt to avoid going down into that fleshy tunnel below him... does he use the sword? does he try to climb out somehow? I really like this artwork, it doesn't need to be any more detailed than it is and the color has been applied quite well. The saliva, the huge teeth and the tongue is attractive and I like the way that the soldier jammed the staff into the dragon's mouth.
