Engineering Sharksuit
At the halfway point of my roller coaster project ^^ this has been a great chance to learn about LSMs, electromagnets, CAD modeling, machining, 3D printing... I can honestly say this project has taught me more engineering techniques than all my college classes so far xD
Still I need to design and wind myself some electromagnets (around 70 of them), as well as design a PLC control system. Plus still need to do more 3D prints and assembly.
Alsooooo
I'm making a sharksuit.
And in true TFE fashion, it's going to be terribly overengineered - 0.04" aircraft grade aluminum with Lexan "near bulletproof" plastic eyes. Really going to blur the line between fursuit and armor. Woo!
Plan on putting a few design photos up as they come - the aluminum gets here Monday.
Follow me on twitter if you want, I guess. It's kinda fun. https://twitter.com/SupercellShark
