Earlier, 2 former friends of mine wanted to make up with me for crap they did to me, and they told me, "You should forget of what happened in the past."
First off whatever happen to,

It wasn't bad enough that one of the former friends admitted he was stealing my friends away from me and making me jealous, but wanting me to forget everything so the same mistake can happen again? What the heck happened learning from our mistakes!

The sad truth is, as painful as our mistakes can be, as bad as some of the memories are, they shape our past, present and future, without remembering such instances there is no way to move forward. So really, one shouldn't forget the past, but merely be able to live with it and try to make amends if such are necessary.
