DA always many definitions of Spamming, I tried to file a report about a similar issue, they told me the exact thing despite it did follow in their rules...

But to me Spamming is the repeating of the same thing over and over and over in a single period of time.

Apparently, because the journals differ in name by one word, they don't constitute spamming.

Which can be annoying but yet if someone spams in comments or notes they count that as spamming, but Journals just have that leniency.

This idiot must not be smart, if he thinks posting the same journal over and over is a good idea!

I'd call that spamming.

That is definitely spamming. Proves the DA mods are once again not good at their jobs. I reported a spambot once and they told me "blocking solves everything in this situation", which makes zero sense if they are posting supposed "tips" to gain unlimited points. That's why I like it here a lot more.

Also it's stupid how ridiculously long it takes DA to answer a report. That spambot report took a month for me to get an answer from and by then it "moved on" to another account to restart the process. Three weeks is also longer than necessary.

By their ruling, it technically doesnt count as spamming because he is pretty much doing it on himself.

Now if he were to post 74 comments on someone else's page begging for the same thing, that WOULD be spamming because its happening on a page that isnt his own. Doing it through journals though means he is only really spamming himself.

This applies even more now that DA has started clumping submissions and journals from the same person together in your watch screen so that you can delete them all at once without them taking up your whole screen.

The only place that it would dominate all over the place would be the search engine (annoying but youd get the same result if he posted 74 pictures of the same theme) and on his journal page itself (which is his own fault if he cant find a previous journal that he suddenly needed info off of).
