After seeing the current results of the survey regarding having a dance competition this year at What The Fur, we couldn't disagree with the results. So we will have our first Dance Competition at WTFur 2014!
And though it is quite a bit more fun to see the talented performers in fursuit dance their tails off (sometimes literally), we don’t want people to just sit on the sidelines, so in addition to the Fursuit category, we will allow for a secondary non-suited category of dancers.
Rules are being decided, and more info will be coming in the next couple of weeks. We would really prefer that we know if you will be competing ahead of the convention, so drop us a line! Let us know what your musical selection will be, and let us know if you have any questions or want to sign up by emailing us at dance[at]whatthefur.ca . We’re also going to be looking for a few fine folks to help us out with this. If interested, use the same email address.
