Yeah I know what you mean.. Doesn't IP ban means it goes into the computer system and literally lock the computer from ever making an account as well as having the "banned" sign?

This is not turn, Banning the MAC address would ban the computer.
IP ban would only work if the person used a static IP address because you IP address can actually change on a day to day basis.

Ahh I see what you mean now. I was just wondering bout that, they need to enforce that again. Another thing that FA should consider doing is getting rid of those "original name" accounts that are left unused/dead. (People only make them to say they have it and not ever use it.) pretty sad really.

Thing is what if they are actually using an IP ban, but the "Other person" knows how to get around that.

I feel like she is going around it by using different computers, locations or something. It's just so stressing because I hate dealing with her, blocking is pointless because she continues to make more. She literally made 7 accounts including this one...

If that is what a person is doing very little will stop them

IP bans only.work.as someone said if they use a static IP.. The address of the network card aka MAC address only blocks that system and if they are behind a router then that's what gets blocked.
Actually installing something on another persons computer is a grey issue especially without thier premission. Then you have to deal with various operating systems.

IP bans have happened before here. A friend of mine even had someone IP banned because he kept harassing and stalking her, took a long as while though which is ridiculous.

Just pointing out that while its possible to ban an IP address it doesn't guarantee they won't be back. They might block a range but that locks out ahhuge group. If the person is rule abiding then it works..

Who would spend that much time and effort constantly making accounts just to bother with someone who clearly doesn't want to bother with you? I don't even get why people put forth so much effort towards people they dislike. I'm always like "fuck that mother fucker" and I might initially bitch or vent or retaliate, but after that, it's done with. I'm done with them. They aren't someone I like so why waste my time? I don't get it.

Even at that age I couldn't be bothered with someone I didn't like. I guess I didn't want it to seem like I was terrbly invested in them so much they'd call me a stalker. I'd rather not have someone I disliked thinking I needed them around so much.

I'm not the only one who does this. People vent and sometimes they warn their watchers, its a common harmless thing.
I make these journals so my friends and watchers can be alerted and/or give me advice.
