Ugh...

So, I'm supposed to be performing in a play tomorrow. A musical actually. More specifically, I'm playing the part of one of the leading characters. Even more specifically, I'm playing the part of The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. It's a role that requires lots of vocal inflections and a good volume of solo singing, and I use a lot of my vocal range, both musically and theatrically speaking, to play the role.
So of course, tonight is the night where I'm suddenly hit with a scratchy throat and left unable to sing or speak very loudly. >.<
In any case, I'm currently drinking some throat coat tea and planning for lots of rest before the show tomorrow. I hope anyone who reads this will wish me luck, and if you know any other good fixes for a sore throat/ hoarse voice, I would greatly appreciate it.

*holds fingers crossed for you* I wish you all the best buddy. And I really would suggest tea with honey, or maybe even pure honey to sooth your throat.

Best of luck. Hopefully the performance tonight doesn't drain your throat too much.
