I've been seeing this off and on, and perhaps this is completely normal and widely accepted? But... I find openly bashing someones adoptables rather rude.
I get an artist can't make everyone happy, I also understand that man, sometimes you see an adoptable and you're just like, 'Really? People like these?' but keep that to yourself and your friends. It's really rude and hurtful to the original artist to see, 'Dude, why do people waste their money on X?/ The adoptable isn't even worth that much!/ They should feel ashamed taking that much money!'
It takes two to make a transaction. If someone wants to pay 500 dollars for what you considered a terrible investment, well, that's their deal. Not yours. Keep your complaints behind closed doors, and no one gets hurt.
And what if that artist really needs the money? What if rent is coming up, or they have bills to pay, or they owe mob boss a protection fee?
I've just seen several instances where people openly bash an artist and/or their adopts, and/or those spending their money, and while I may silently agree here or there, it is down right uncouth to be so carelessly vile.
Anyway, on another note concerning adopts.
I've received a few complaints about people being harassed about their stardragons (Let me have it, you're not using it/You're not using it properly/Hey can I buy it, can I but it now, how about now, please let me have it.)
If this has happened to you, please contact myself/Raptorslut/Deletethestars. Preferably with screeencapped proof. If you don't want us addressing the person, or bringing up your name at all to them, that's completely fine and we will not confront them. But it does help us keep an eye out for future issues and hopefully protecting others from having to deal with the same issues.

If people want it its their money to spend and i know as a adoptable maker myself it means the world when people want to pay higher prices than normal.
the adoptable scene has just gotten so aggressive over the years
BUT YEAH, seriously. Like cool, again, I get it. There will be adopts you see that you're just like 'BU... why. Why??', but just... man, keep it to yourself, or around friends, or if you wanna do it on FurA- take it to notes? I understand getting annoyed, or being jealous is a thing, and that ranting helps but ptttthhh
PTTTHHHHH
PPPPPTTTTTHHHHH.
It's rude!!! Take it to a private space!!!!
But i had the money to 'waste' and had been wanting one for going on a year. and it was like 75% cheaper than what i was /willing/ to pay for one.
Yeah i agree aa
i see it soooo much /right on auction/adopt pages/ D:
AND YEAH. Or someone will make a journal all about bashing an adopt and-- I'm just going to end up tirelessly repeating myself due to just being dumbfounded by ruders.
