Quick update!

So here are a few things going on:
1. Going forward, I will no longer be using the word "shemale" in any of my journals, stories or image uploads.
2. I have a few pieces of gift art that I really need to get around to uploading sooner or later.
3. I have three essays I need to finish before next week, and then the week after is finals.
4. Still haven't found a new job. Weh.
5. I should be uploading the next chapter of Wolf Nanaki next week.

What term do you plan on using? Transgender? Just out of curiosity. I find a lot of different people use or are offended by different words... For me, I tend to fit into a weird little spot. I have a character who is transgender, definitely, and I tend to refer to her that way... For Dispari though, I tend to use shemale, if for no other reason than she never did any transitioning... She's a fantasy character, so she was just born that way, and that's how she is. I suppose some people still find it offensive... though, I always refer to people the way they prefer. I'd never call someone a word they don't like, but I feel I have the right to refer to myself and my own characters however I please.

I get confused by that too cuz I don't understand which offends or not.

I think largely the term "shemale" is more offensive to more people.

Yeah I don't use that but I got attacked for saying transsexuals is that bad?

I try to refer to people the way they identify, or refer to themselves. But even then, some people just make it their life goal to be offended, in which case it doesn't matter what you say. Either way, no term will please everyone.

I guess just sucks to rub people the wrong way unintentionally. Thanks for the advice though.
