How is ESO?

I'd be a fool to think there aren't a lot of bugs and smaller issues that need ironing out, but it's a brand-new MMO so I'm willing to let some stuff slide. On the whole? I'm enjoying it immensely, and look forward to playing more. It just needs some TLC to make sure people stick with it right now.

Considering how popular the Elderscrolls series is, and how badly people wanted a MP version of it, I'm highly impressed with how the game's launch day went. Bugs aside, Zenimax quite outdid themselves on the title. Decent launch days are not a common thing for MMOs.

I am Uriel#2941 on Bnet, I play WoW mostly these days though.

I've not been on WoW in a few months due to the downtime between content, though I've no doubt I'll be back for the pre-expansion patch/WoD.

Ahh, fair enough! After my raiding guild pretty much disbanded early on in MoP, my only real experience of SoO has been through LFR! I did it, got what I wanted, then pretty much stopped playing after getting my last character to 90!

I'm currently running it through LFR myself because I'm not kitted out for Heroics yet and the Guild I'm in does 25 man Heroics. Although I might find a Flex group before throwing myself into Heroics mainly because Flex gear is a lot better than Raid Finder gear and I don't want to be the 5th wheel.

Diablo 3's latest patch (and the expansion) drastically changed the end-game. Loot is far more rewarding compared to what it was, and legendaries are something you (usually) are eager to identify! Plenty of balance/class changes also help make it feel more "fresh", and many previously bunk skills are now viable. The inclusion of Adventure Mode is also a game-changer; no more replaying the storyline over and over again, and Act V is definitely the best all-round act of them all. Overall I'd say it's worth giving a shot again, simply because it's free! You already own the game, and there's no sub cost. Can't hurt to give it a go and see how you like it. :)

As for ESO? I've played for a good 35-40 hours or so already, and it's honestly very engaging for me. It seems like a mostly single-player game with trading and some grouping thrown in, but that's how I've always played MMOs in the past. There are plenty of small issues (and some bugs that need fixing) but on the whole I'm really enjoying it. I haven't got far enough to try the end-game of course, so that's something I can't comment on. The gold sellers/bots are a pain right now, but ZeniMax seem to be curtailing them as best they can... Time will tell, I guess! If I were to be brutally honest, I'd wait a month and then ask again. Whilst I'm more than happy with the money I've spent on it for the enjoyment I've had so far (and doubtlessly will continue to have), how ZeniMax deals with the game's current issues will be key for how it turns out.

What sort of gear level are you on EU?

Me and a friend clear T2 rifts at a fair pace with little downtime or talking, if you would like to tag along.

I usually solo T1/2 stuff, but I'm not really a GO GO GO kind of player. :) Usually if I go into public games or play with other people, I'll stick to Master or T1.

Sadly im both us server and most likely only play my first month. Eso is an average game, neither good or bad due to a mixture of factors. Yeah bugs, which i no longer have. Next graphics is reasonably god and gameplay is smooth. Mechanics or workings of under the hood or specifics... not so good and will be a paragraph of its own.

Guilds are sadly more for a trade channel than what gulds normally do, but some are trying for long term things. Crafting is oddly slow but sorta just fine, only thing i care about for the moment due to skill and stat mechanics oopsi didnt explain yet.

Sure, I'll add you on Diablo 3. I'm using the America's server, however. But be on the lookout for a TyHanson!

May Join you actually, if I can gather my interest again about ESO, Thing is about ESO, they promised something, it came not really how they promised, in short, It's disappointing but not really a bad game~

For me, I've found ESO to be exactly what I'm after in an MMO. :)

I'm not really interested in EQ Next (or Wildstar) though. I tend to focus on one MMO at a time.
