alright I need to get to know you all.
I have like, what, 300+ watchers and I don't talk to any of them????
With that many people it's absurd that there is zero communication! ok so this is a getting to know you journal, which will include telling about myself as well!
ok time to know some things about this lil dumb bat.
Hi. My real name is Abigail, I am 19 years old, an Aries, Hispanic, and I am a short little thing at an astounding 5 feet tall!
Don't underestimate the short ones, they bite. Sometimes.
I prefer it if only close friends call me by my real name, but ya'll can always call me Bibi or Beebs!
I was born and mostly raised here in the USA, and I currently live in Chicago! I am a city gal at heart so if you want to know things about Chicago I can probably answer! I am also VERY familiar with the public transportation there so hit me up for advice if you need help on that!
Er hem...that set aside.
while I am an artist, as you can see from my gallery, I also sing and consider myself pretty good at it. I do like reading as well, am a tea fanatic and I love foreign foods. A lot. When I can I like to explore as much of my city as I can! I still have not seen a lot of it so I like taking time to see new places!
Yes, I am going to school. No, I am unsure of what I want to major in.
I have an interest in vocal music, or going into the film industry as a producer or editor.
Or perhaps I will join the Navy or Army.
I dunno. It's a bit of a mumbo jumbo in the mind of the bat when it comes to the future.
I am a conventioneer! I enjoy attending conventions whenever I can and cosplaying as well!
The next con I am going to is Anime Central, so if any of you are going, look for me!
I have not attended a fur con yet, but I am shooting for Midwest Furfest.
ok that is all for now. if you want to ask more about me, don't be shy! comment or PM me!
now...I want to know about all of you! even if it's just a small detail, or an entire paragraph! the bat needs some more buddies ^^;

FA+

Personality wise I am closest to Esspresso, I suppose.
-A few little details about me: You can refer to me with the pronouns for either gender, or simply gender neutral stuff. I don't identify as either one, so I don't really care. xD Um...what else...
-I don't consider my an 'artist' in the sense of drawing characters. To me, an 'artist' is anyone who MAKES something. Music, crafts, icons, backgrounds, digital, traditional... I gather this is an unpopular opinion, but..oh well.
-I am icon-happy and change my own quite often. Usually I'll post a journal letting people know..but not always.
-I have a bracelet for sale. <.<
That's it..social courage cup is empty now..
And yes I agree an artist can do all sorts of things! I consider myself one because I enjoy every aspect of the fine arts ^^ not an unpopular opinion but certainly an observation that some don't make!
So, I am 24 and I am about to start my first teaching job. My name is Sihracil (You can call me Sihr or Curt) and I am a fox coyote. I used to be a polymorph but finally discovered my form after roleplaying with a friend who pulled out my personality. I am currently working towards my Master's in Education and love to go to furmeets. I love talking to people, despite being shy and unfortunately people are too preoccupied with their current friends to accept new friends I've noticed. I am going to Califur, my 2nd furry convention this year/ever. I don't wanna rant so if anyone wants to be friends just pm me or give me a shout :)
Will be 24 in a few days, 6' tall, I like to build things, and I'm good at just about anything I set my mind to~ I'm an open book, ask and you shall know~
I can't help but feel like I am the youngest in the fandom (I know I am not) because I see so many people in their twenties, and I haven't even reached my twenties yet!
My real name is Nathalie but I hate it so I prefer to go by Jordan, even some RL friends call me that.
I am German and 1,75m tall. Born on New year's eve 1991 which makes me being a 22 years old Capricon. I am somewhat of a country person, living and raised in a very small village somewhere in nowehere and really couldn't survive in the city. I need a lot of space and freedom. there are fields and forests only a few minute walks from my house and that's just perfect for me.
I draw and take photos but I do not see myself as an artist or photographer. It's just a hobby for me and nothing serious. I got my first camera when I was about 8 or 9 years old and since then I am always taking shots or everything. My favourite things to photograph are my dog, pretty skyscapes and small/tiny things such as flowers and insects. A few of my friends are professional photographers and they say I am pretty much a macro photographer. As for art I have always been doodling stuff but only started to actually try to improve during the last few years. I draw ferals and really suck at anthros/humans. I really need to work on expressions and poses.
I am not much of a perople person and usually come off as cold and distant but I can also be nice and usually do not turn down people when they are in need of help. Social interaction is exhausting and sometimes overwhelming so I tend to avoid it.
I have always had a liking for photography but could never afford a camera to practice it. I did get access to a canon pro camera a few times and I took advantage of that and it was great.
I like to limit my social interaction because I become irritated. I cannot stand going to parties where there is bound to be a lot of strangers. I like to stick close to the people I care about.
I start with a very simple analog camera (one of those that still worked with negatives) then I got my first phone with built in camera, another camera phone and only a couple years later I got my first digital camera it was a very basic one (5MP 3x zoom) but it did it's job. In December 2012 I finally bought my Nikon, still a basic compact camera but I am quite happy with it. Some professional photographers even admired my works. I haven't yet gotten the chance to try a real professional DSLR camera but I'd love to, just to see what I'd be able to do with it. (Oh and if you're interested to see my shots, here ya go: http://jordanmireldis.tumblr.com/ta.....ed/Photography)
I'm 24, situated on the british isles and I'm primarily a kind-of-teacher.
When I'm not teaching, I'm probably swearing at things. Usually myself or politics.
If I'm not doing that, I'm probably playing a video game, or writing something in a music/insomnia driven madness - normally sci-fi themed.
I'm 6'2", and my default expression is peeved, annoyingly.
Otherwise I'm pretty laid back, but I'm told I can be a sarcastic ass when I want to be.
Name's Ty, and I'm a writer living in Texas. I currently have one finished novel posted on a website, as well as a few in progress to be sent off within the year. Really looking to get published. I work at a smoke/head shop in the mean time, usually taking weekends to work a late shift at a hookah lounge.
I could probably be best described as "a heavy metal hippy" who happens to be into a lot of quiet things such as looking at art, reading too much, and writing whenever. But I also like desert rock, long boarding, and drinking/smoking with friends. I top out at six feet and have a mane of black hair that makes me look Native American, when in actuality it's old Black Dutch blood, which is just a watered down gypsy that immigrated stateside. I drive a motorcycle and have a close circle of friends who, well, happen to be variously involved in one scheme or another, or causing some weirdness somewhere.
One is my roommate, an archaeologist who hopes to move to Europe, and another is a pal whom I give a couch to sleep on--and sometimes the roof, when it's not too cold out. (I live in a 2 story white stucco that has a raised, flat roof. We call it the Alamo.) He's got what might be considered several personalities, if the papers and mail I store for him have any truth. My other friend, well, sells grass and drives around in a Mustang all day. He's taking a break from it though, as of three months ago after another transient I was giving shelter to stole about seven hundred worth of assorted drugs in a makeup bag he'd been keeping it all in.
I'm a Libra, was raised on the road, living in both country and city areas. I really do have "that" side of the family in me. I like to travel and never feel well spending too much time in one place. I like to discover, I like to explore and think, and I enjoy immersing myself in new experiences. Lore themes, supernatural genres, and horror books are some of my favorite things to read/write.
As an aside, the Coyote character is something that harkens to my respect and admiration for said animal. As it was, the first time I went deer hunting with my grandfather, it was nearly five AM and we were waiting for the light to show all the deer that may or may not have been there. But all it once, it went down the drain. The sound of coyotes sounded out from all around. West, south, north, east. Yips and cries and howls--I mean all of it. Coyotes don't just howl and bark, they sing and they're one of the few animals that does it for no particular reason except for pleasure. The Native American tales of the Coyote Trickster are something I'm fond of.
My real name is Seldom {yes, just like the word and no, I'm not lying}; I'm 29 years old and a Leo. I've always thought of myself as bi-sexual but lately am thinking I might acutally be pansexual. This thought process came about when I realized I'm also deeply attracted to people like Vanity Sweet and Buck Angel... People who look and feel one gender but have the sexual bits of another gender... And herms. And fem boys... See? I'm actually thinking I'm pansexual.
Anyways, enough about my sexual identity crisis uhm.... I consider myself just an artist. I write, I craft, I sing, I dance, I draw/sketch. So in all, I just create. Which makes me an artist :D
Uhm... my mothers side of the family are all of Romanski/Itallian gypsy stock, with a little bit of native american thrown in for flavor, so I have a tendency to get VERY wanderlusty when the seasons change.
I kind of consider myself a shape changer. Mostly because, if I were to say "THIS is the type of animal I am" I would be a VERY odd hybrid... I'm a feline/fox/rabbit/mouse/goat/bird <.< yeah...
I like knitting and crocheting, I hope to get good at making custom Amirugumi dolls and make a small business out of that maybe later this year. I'm a purebred mutt of ALL THE WHITE! I like drinking on weeknights, playing cards against humanity with my friends' parents, and eating three times the recommended serving size. I'm handy around the house, I love obscure TV shows, books, online comics, and all those British celebrities with funny names.
I started as a Sugar Glider because even though I don't fly anymore (I tried to get my pilot's license a few years ago, it didn't work out for health reasons) I still love the sensation of controlling your own flight through the air. I officially added the ocelot a month or so ago because I wanted to be playful and fearless. Tiny but mighty. I've always wanted to be smaller and more confident so that's where my sona went. The way I see it, I made this sona like a shell, the first time I crawled in and explored I wasn't comfortable, but the more I wear it the more it becomes me. I'm using my sona to become the person I want to be.
I hope that is a good sample of who I am, it's nice to meet you.
My real name is Chantel, I'm a 23 year old Torontonian. I'm a Cancer...
In the real world I'm a technical editor for a software company, which makes me sound way more grown-up than I actually am :P
Let's see... I'm part of a small local Pathfinders group that meets every week, coz sometimes I have to get my nerd on :P
The only real fur con I've made it to was FE, and I plan on going again next year for the whole thing. Um... Yeah. lol
You guys have some pretty awesome foodstuffs
