The magic word is hidden somewhere in this TOS, changes monthly, and will be moved around every time I make a change in my rules. The idea is to encourage you to read this TOS carefully!
Sending payment for a commission means that you:
a. are at least 18 years of age and
b. agree to the following terms of service:
--PAYMENT--
Payment is due when I get to your slot. This will be handled through invoice (you supply your Paypal email, and I send you an invoice for the amount once it is agreed upon). Commissions totaling $45 or more may be paid half at start and half upon completion, but commissions below $45 must be paid in full at start.
If you are unable to pay at the time your slot comes up, I will move on to the next slot and ask you again once that is complete.
I accept payment through Paypal primarily, but if you are for some legitimate reason unable to use Paypal we can discuss an alternative.
I can accept DeviantArt points as payment at a rate of 100 points/dollar, but this option is only available for non-fetish non-adult commissions.
-Complexity fees-
Prices listed are base prices that assume a wingless character with a moderate amount of detail. If your character has complex markings (ex. rosettes, highly specific stripe patterns, 5 or more pelt colors, etc) or wings, you can expect the price to be a bit higher. On the other end of things, if the character is simple (ex. Jigglypuff, Kirby, etc), the price may be a bit lower.
As a general rule, there will be an additional $10 fee for membrane wings and an additional $15 for feathered wings. Highly complex wings may cost a bit more (ex. combination feather/membrane wings, intricate patterns, etc).
-Cancellations and Refunds-
If you decide against purchasing a commission before I have gotten to your slot, let me know and I will remove you from the queue with no penalty.
If you decide to cancel a commission I have already begun working on, I will refund what you paid minus the cost of whatever state of completion the commission is in at the time.
-Private commissions-
I do offer private commissions, but these will be subject to a fee equal to 10% of the total cost of the commission. Private commissions will not be posted or shared by me on any site, and you will be listed in the queue as "Anonymous".
--COMMUNICATION--
I can be contacted via the notes system on FurAffinity or DeviantArt. WIPs can be posted on FA, shared via Google docs, emailed, or shared via Skype.
-WIPs and Revisions-
I will provide a "Work In Progress" image after every step (sketch, lineart, color, etc) and after every revision. Multiple errors pointed out in one go constitutes a single revision.
The number of revisions accepted for a piece depends on the commission type:
Sketches: 2 revisions max
Lineart: 5 revisions max
Flat color: 7 revisions max
Full color: 10 revisions max
The "Big Package" and Deluxe Digital: 20 revisions max
A single pose redraw is permitted in commissions full color and up, but only in the sketch stage. Redraws/large edits in other stages and revisions over the limit will incur an additional fee.
If you do not include the monthly-changing magic word (April 2015: Garlic) in your order form, I will ask you to go back and read my TOS again.
--CHARACTERS WITHOUT REFERENCES--
Except in the case of the "Big Package" reference and timed streams, reference commissions involving a character that does not have an existing up-to-date image will be subject to a $20 character design fee.
Character designs are only available in reference sheet and timed stream commissions.
--PERMISSIONS AND RIGHTS--
Unless arranged otherwise, I the artist retain full rights to any commission image, including but not limited to print selling and advertising.
Customers are permitted to use/display their commissions in any non-profit fashion with credit given (reposting on FA, printing for personal use, etc). Signature most be kept intact except in the case of cropping a small section of a piece to be used as an icon.
If you are interested in commissioning work to be used in a commercial fashion (ex. logos, official art for an indie game, etc), this can be discussed on a case-by-case basis over notes or email.
--RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE--
I maintain the right to refuse service for any reason at all, including but not limited to commission content and/or behavior of a would-be client.
Please consult my "Will not draw" list below for content I am likely to refuse. If you are unsure whether I would be comfortable with drawing your preferred content, feel free to ask.
-Will not draw-
There are some things I either am unable to draw or will not draw for moral or otherwise personal reasons. These include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Hate art of a person or group
- Glorified or sexualized domestic abuse
- Cub/minors in sexual situations
- Rape
- Gore and/or guro
- Excessive violence in a sexual context (Mild BDSM is ok, but not to the point of causing serious injury)
- Hard vore
- HumanXanimal (as in an animal that thinks and behaves like an animal)
- Coprophagia (shit-eating)
- Myself or my sona in adult contexts
-Will not post-
There are a handful of things that I am willing to draw but I do not want to post on my FA page for some reason or another. You may still post these yourself with credit given to me as the artist. These include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Diaper fetish
- Piss drinking
- Characters under 16 (Still in non-sexual scenarios only. They will still be posted on my DA page, but it doesn't feel right to have them displayed in the same place as my adult work. This does not apply to species that reach full emotional and physical maturity at a younger age, eg ferals, Pokémon, etc.)
The following I am willing to draw, but I will not post them and you may NOT post art of these by me on FA. I will not sign them, and I ask that if you do post them elsewhere, do not include my username or any other identifying information. These include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Mild scat/soiling
- Real people/celebrities
