Ok, so shaving is one of my favorite steps in fursuit making. It's the time when the fluffy monstrosity you spliced together finally becomes the creature it was meant to be. I love it, but I hate the mess and I hate inhaling all that fur! I tried using a respirator mask, but I always felt like I couldn't breath and eventually I stopped using it. I figured I'd just have to deal with it, but today it was like the damn light bulb finally went of in my head and it occurred to me that I could dampen the fur with my spritz bottle before shaving, just like a barber does to human hair. Why didn't I think of this before? I've already tried it and it works splendidly. I think the shave is even smoother and I don't have inhale the fur dust that always kicked up before.
