Is this one of those situations from movies, where you're in such desperate need for money that you'll draw just about anything (although in movies, they "do just about anything"), regardless of how gross and disgusting or disturbing it is, and then, once you're done, it's one of those things you'll be ashamed of for the rest of your life but you had no real choice but to do it at the time?

I don't want you to be waking up at the bus-stop early in the morning feeling all shameful and crying because you had to draw cats just to get by:/

Oh, and i might have an idea for a pic. How much are your sketch works? Not sure if i'm thinking more avatar-like/icon or a regular sketch tho...

I guess there are some things I wouldn't like to draw, but by everything I meant more like any creatures (because people sometimes have really interesting characters!), also some scenes and characters are quite a challenge- drawing the same things all over again won't help me in improving my skills. I guess that sometimes I just like to think of drawing, as I said earlier-a challenge.

And no, I'm not that desperate for money :) definitely not, but commissions would make me get back to drawing- once somebody paid you, you HAVE to draw a picture ;) Additional cash is also very welcome anyway, money seems to disappear these days when I buy sport-related equipment :|

Ah, drawing cats is a pleasure :3 I guess a fully shaded sketch of a character done with a pencil would be around 25-30$, depending on complicity. Less shaded, more "sketchy" looking pic would be cheaper, but lately I like to draw in a more realistic way:3 Colored avatar would cost around 15-20$, as it's mainly a head, also in a realistic style. I hope these prices aren't too high, but I realized I have to value my own work, many years ago I drew pictures for really small amount of money and often felt bad about it. I'll try to upload some decent examples of my work soon!

How about drawing a really happy and playful lion fighting (playing) with a huge over-sized ball of yarn? No background, but shaded so it doesn't look like he's just floating there in the air? I'm not entirely sure which style would look best tho...

Doesn't have to be super detailed, and a bit cartoony look would probably look good. And you can just post it so everyone can take part in the joy ^^,

It sounds definitely good :) I love all cats, especially big ones like lions, tigers etc. A "playing" pose would also be something different- so that's also appreciated, I'd try my best to get it look right!

Kończę pierwszy szkic, kolejny mam zamówiony (stały klient :'D), więc przykłady wrzucę. Nawet mi się odechciało już rysować za grosze, więc albo się ktoś zgodzi na taką cenę, albo nie będę rysować. Już mnie nerwica strzela gdy widzę niektóre osoby, które za grubą mamonę rysują arty i też nie jakoś powalające :( Głodem nie przymieram, więc spoko. Pieniądz zawsze się przyda, szczególnie, że teraz muszę sporo rzeczy kupić związanych ze sportem i tanie to nie jest ;_; Wlepię zapewne do galerii wszystko, dlatego w razie czego za reklamę będę dozgonnie wdzięczna <3
