I had that problem with 9 ghost submissions.

Every so often when I go to view my stuff on FA from my cellphone this happens occasionally with a phantom submissions that says its there, but you go to click on it and nothing happens.

True, just watch out logging back onto your account from phone to PC. Just logout if you dont and log back in and should fix the problem 8 times outta 10

I had four ghost journals a couple weeks ago, then they vanished completely.

if the problem persists, to get rid of them, wait till you actually have a real submission, like one you can actually see. On the update page, instead of "Nuking All Submissions" instead click the "Check/Uncheck" box and when everything is highlighted click "Remove All".
