I need to start my resolution

Now that the weather is finally warming up I need to start mountain biking, cycling, and hitting the gym more like I did 2 years ago when I felt invincible. Last year was a total wash, only biking a hand full of times and never working out due to the cold in winter (the winters here reach far into the negatives and last 6 months), procrastination in the spring/summer, and loosing a friend in the fall. After hearing a speech from the vice wing commander about time management, I swear that guy has 48 hours in his day and still gets 100 on his PT test being nearly 60 years old. So I have no excuse anymore, plus for the first time in my life i'm not working night ops, so that makes it easier to hit the gym after work because it's actually open. I used to be a very bitter but hard working airman always getting the shit end of the stick and knowing certain things were being handled the wrong way. But now I see new airmen coming in, some with a lot of potential but being destroyed like I was. After graduating Leadership School I know all of the things I thought were wrong are actually wrong and I wasn't just being rebellious. But I'm no saint, I've also realized some of the things I've done wrong that created a bad perception of me to others, mostly filtering my thoughts and actions, just because something's not wrong doesn't mean it's appropriate. And that's the downfall with most devoted, hard working airmen; and the kiss-ups are the opposite. I want to put a stop to that, reward the hard workers not the ass kissers. Every one needs some kind of motivation keeping them going, money certainly isn't it, but helping others and working with such a diverse range of people from around the world does.
On a side note I listened to an inspirational(?) speech from one of General Patton's nephews... and I thought I was bad at public speaking lol. I guess being related to someone great doesn't make you so, otherwise I would be an actor/spy plane pilot/firechief/MLB pitcher/News reporter/knight lol.
