hmmmm my two favorit riddles are rather simple .. at least I believe that they are ^^

the first:

I begin on 4 legs in the morning
2 legs in the afternoon
and 3 legs in the evening,
what am I?

and the second:

I am the oldest member of your house,
I have two hands which cant touch
two eyes that cannot see
and two legs which cant get me anywhere
what am I?

It is a popular one~ the first time I saw it was on a Saturday morning cartoon commercial. It's kinda stuck every since.
