I know that about 2% of furries have any interest in sports at all, but there's 1 thing going on that you really should at least be monitoring. Before their season started, the Portland Trail Blazers became the first NBA (basketball) team, and the first team in any of the 4 major American sports (baseball, football, basketball, hockey) to officially declare that the organization is in support of gay marriage. Seems pretty appropriate for the "Trail Blazers" >.> They have been a pretty bad team for the past decade or so, but this year they're doing really well (coincidence?), and they made it to their Conference Semifinals. So I know very few of you really care about sports, but this is a pretty cool thing just to monitor and a good team to root for.
