So my house just burned down.

Currently closed for story commissions! See this journal for details if you want to look anyway.
Not really, I just figured you guys were sick of seeing four million journals with Happy New Year as the title.
So I had a Christmas story I was writing, but Life stepped in and I was unable to finish it before the day. And once I missed the first deadline, my own laziness made it easy to miss the second deadline (being released in December).
So it'll hopefully (knock on wood) be done before I go to bed tonight.
I could probably finish within the next two hours, but I'd rather submit a Christmas story in January than rush my writing and make the ending sub-par.
Anyway, enough about me, I hope you guys (all 24 of you ;) ) have a kickass time in the New Year, and not suffer any hardships.

EDIT: I am now drunk. I will resume finishing the story in the morning when I am no longer drunk. Wheee!
