What Kind of Laminating Machine is the Best?

As the title says, I'm curious to know what kinds of laminating machines people use for badges and stuff.
I'd really like one that's small, I don't need a giant machine. I also don't want to spend a fortune either. Any recommendations would be lovely! c:
I've got ideas for a badge combining the use of some holofoil paper I found online. Like the stuff they use on Pokemon cards. If it goes well I might make more. The only thing that's icky is that you have to buy it in rolls, and it's $15 per roll. But it's holofoil paper! I've spent half a hour looking for it so yea.
And I'll need to laminate them too so the machine's going to be needed

Also what kind of clip are the ones that look similar to alligator clips? They're wider, don't have a serrated edge, and have a plastic strip with a button thing that snaps it shut. I have no idea what they're called or where I can get them

I HAVE heard people (two incidents) tell me horror stories about their laminator "eating" badges and art. Meaning the laminator has jammed and ruined a piece. But most of the time, this model is what I see people bring to cons. It's not too bulky or heavy and is simple to use. Good luck!
And that sounds terrifying, oh gosh. ;~; I'd hate for that to happen. I'd imagine it's rare for that to happen though

I don't think you can actually use it for laminating, but I don't know if it can be laminated either. I bet it can be, since paper can.
