Saban Brands has officially announced a partnership with Lionsgate to produce and original and re-envisioned live action film based on the popular Power Rangers franchise!

Haim Saban and Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer announced this partnership today to mark another step in Lionsgate commitment to build a solid portfolio of branded properties and franchises with global appeal.

With both companies noting that with a very solid fanbase around the world, Power Rangers are ready for the big screen. The newest film franchise will bring a re-envisioned Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers team, where a group of high school kids entrusted with great super powers and awesome weapons and machinery must harness and use these powers as a team in hopes of saving the world from evil.
