I don't even know why all of this is necessary. Yes, it sucks that a gay option isn't available, but why THIS game of any game would you choose to make your whipping boy for gay rights, a quirky Japanese widget game that's meant to just me goofy fun. This kind of game is the ANTITHESIS of something worth political commentary beyond "Japanese humor sure is weird..."

This whole thing, to me, feels like the gay community bullying Nintendo because they dared to not cater to gays. Not just accept gays, not just acknowledge gays, but to not cater and bow to their will unquestioningly.

Of course, I may just be a fool who's not being sensitive to the plight of my own people....But at least I'm not boycotting a widget sandbox game because I can't force two men to get married.
