Is it possible?

in your opinion to become good friends with someone online before ever meeting them in person?
I used to be of the sort that for me personally... it wasn't
but now I'm not so sure
It's like I want to become friends but its essentially impossible to meet them anytime soon
(anywhere from a few to several months from now)
I feel like there are a few people I could get close to or become good friends with online before ever meeting them and when we do meet it will make that meeting all the more special...
this is something new to me that I didn't expect. Advice, comments are greatly appreciated

Well i have a big 'first love' experience that was all online. Involved meeting someone on pounced, texting a lot, video chatting on skype sometimes, led to real love for me, and.... kinda ended in heartbreak. lol. But essentially.... me and the guy had become great friends, are still .. i think.. friends. I think its possible. X3. Its just... not meeting in person, and things, can possibly be a little difficult, but nothing bad id say. idk X3. Hope that helps lol
