The Near Future of Commissions, and Image Ratings

So... the last commission on my list took quite a while to complete; much longer than I'm comfortable with keeping people waiting for. So far, class has been taking up a surprisingly large amount of my time, and I don't always get a whole lot of time to work on art stuff (even though I probably should, to some degree; maybe I'm just slow/lazy >_> ).
As a result, I'm not sure what to do about commissions right now. Outright close them temporarily until I think I have adequate time to work on them again, or just keep them "open" but leave a warning that they may take a long time (possibly several weeks) to complete? In theory the latter seems like the 'better' option, but I hate making people wait like that, so I'm not sure how to decide...!
In either case, I'm totally fine with hearing/discussing commission ideas (if there are people out there that wish to do so), but I may not be able to actually accept them right away.
Also, thus far I've been uploading the 'normal/small' versions of each commission pic and just giving the larger-resolution ones to the commissioner only; but I'm not sure, would it actually be better to upload the large ones because they'd theoretically look better for other viewers?
I've also been wondering about the image ratings I've been putting on my pictures; I usually put almost everything with super-huge boobs (which is... almost everything? >_> ) as 'Mature', but since all my pics are pretty tame and there's never "anything showing", should I leave them as General instead? And/or leave most things General but just make some of the intentionally-'sexier' pics (like... I dunno, this as an example maybe?) Mature? Opinions on that would be appreciated.

I've seen the picture resolution done both ways. However, I would also upload a manually resized image instead of letting the site do it. A slight improvement in the uploaded image quality can certainly result. But if you wish to upload larger, the trick to reupload over the existing posting works to bypass the image size limit.
I also agree with Seth's take on the ratings, as well. As mentioned, topless or mildly suggestive stuff could be marked as mature. But when more clothed, even with generous endowments, general should be okay. As you said, your gallery is pretty tame.
While 'topless' as a criteria for Mature makes some sense, there's also plenty of plain, cutesy stuff with topless characters ( some examples here... all pony stuff :V ), including Maple in general (until I find a decent 'normal' outfit for her, at least), that could probably still fit under General? So there's that too.
And then again, there's stuff like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12776165/ where the clothing isn't covering much (which could maybe-possibly be inherently considered Mature) but I think still falls into the 'cutesy/tame' spectrum that might be fine for General...

For the uploads, I tend to keep the images uploaded on the smaller side for a few reasons. One being bandwidth, in case I'm accessing the images in a connection that may not be so hot. I make exceptions though if, as you mentioned, there's a lot of detail that might get lost at smaller dimensions.
