Also, I've seen this kind of shit talk, containing just about everything I've seen mentioned here, but what really got to me was when somebody basically said "lol if people want them so much they should just make their own" and that really pisses me off. Like somebody's hard work isn't worth it and should just be ripped off for no reason other than people not wanting to pay for said artist's years of work. Like... what??? the fuck??? It just stresses me out and makes me upset like you wouldn't believe

like honestly if these people hate dreamies so much, then why don't they put their money where their mouth is and just buy characters from other, perhaps lesser-known artists, whose designs they actually like? or design a species they like?

Personally, I think people who are vocal about what they don't like are rather rude anyways. :T I don't get it... I mean, you don't HAVE to like something...but why must people be so negative? When people face to face tell me "I don't like ______" I usually smile at them and say, "I didn't ask."

I'm less bothered by dreamies and more bemused by all of the 'not-dreamies-seriously-guys' original species that seem to be all over the site. Like I readily subscribe to the whole 'you can't copyright something like long ears or specific kinds of tails' etc thing but after a while every brand new species all just kinda look the same to me and it's funny. Life is really too short to get angry over stuff like that anyway. :P
