Monday while sitting at my desk, on my computer I hear a dull thud against my floor followed by a crack, I turn around in my chair to see what had happened. The glass covering over my lights in the ceiling came crashing to the floor and busted into several pieces, what bothered me most was that my IW dragon was sitting inches away from the catastrophe of busted glass. Getting up from my chair quickly; I pick my dragon up and move him clear out of the way of the glass, and lay him on top of my bed as I started to pick up the larger chunks of the heavy glass globe, and picking up some of the smaller, easier pieces of glass to pick up, before getting the vacuum to vacuum up the rest of the smaller, tinier pieces.

Later on I find that Spark (my dragon) is slowly losing air. Leaving him up over the night, the next morning I notice he is considerably softer and has lost more air overnight. I put more air into him and leave him up during the afternoon, as the day went on I started to notice his head starting to dip down, I knew right then and there that he must have gotten poked by a stray piece of glass that must have bounced up from off the floor and punctured him. I deflated him for the rest of the day to get him out of the way as my dad and I replaced the glass cover to my lights.

Today I blew him back up to search for his wound using the old soapy, warm water method to find where he was leaking from. First place I looked was his left leg which was closest to the busted glass, first I wet the bottom of his foot with the water and did not discover any damage, next I checked the side of his leg and within a minute without using the water I found a small cut into his vinyl where some glass must have poked him. Heartbroken that I let my poor inflatable dragon get injured; I deflated him once again, and neatly folded him up, texting my mate to see if I could send Spark to him to patch him up as I do not have my spare patches on me, and I cannot find the proper glue to use for repairs anywhere around here.

I feel awful that my poor dragon got injured, I more pissed about the damn glass cover from the light fixture coming off and busting into my carpet. So I am cautiously walking around my room finding stray, tiny pieces of glass in my carpet every so often.
