well the key thing is to remember that in all those cases, you cant assume what or how they got that way, just respect tha they are living creatures just like you, and when any one means change, learning is change, learning is maturing, ya know what i mean man? just take from the experiances and learn from them, that beyond all things will make you look the smartest, the fact that your still, and always will be learning

I don't know you all that well - hell, at all - but I've had a lot of things blow up on me, and leaving something you enjoy just because stuff kinda goes downhill is a bit drastic. If you really don't enjoy it, perhaps it might be time to find something you enjoy doing more with your time - but I've been in fandom for over 12 years, and despite bad times - I've managed to stick things out, and the furry fandom has kept me relatively sane, strange as it may sound.

You are going to have days, even weeks of stuff like this. Giving help can be a tricky thing with people. Some resent it as it, in their eyes, makes them look bad/weak, others can try to take advantage, and others....(Sigh.) who the heck knows. I am 56 and have had/seen more then my share of "No good deed goes unpunished" events. Best one can do is hope there's a lesson to be taken away in them and keep on plugging.
It is a bit of a regrettable(?) thing that there needs to be bad/rough points in life to make you appreciate the the good ones.
