My favorite thing is seeing all the merchandise, clothing, art from vendors/dealers.
I always try to hold back from buying too much and making myself penniless vwv

I rarely go with a group of friends, hanging out and trying things like food and watching some panels.
Can be pretty interesting

AC being the biggest one, you'll meet a ton of people.
But you gotta be quick for room planning along with registration.

I love seeing old friends for sure! :) Even though I'm not that big into it, the cosplay might be one of my favorite things to see. >v< Then again, merchandise is fun too! :o I can't decide! >v< Cons are just so much fun!! :D

I preffer smaller conventions ^-^ more socilizing and getting to know the people you just met. Like FE and condition.

For me, the best thing about the con isn't even a part of the con.
It's when people recognize you once the con is over! I've been stopped several times and asked "weren't you the guy playing ocarina at So-and-So Con?". It feels absolutely amazing when that happens.

if you could actually afford to come to a new york comicon, or maybe APEX 2015 in Pennsylvania, i'd be super, super excited.

The best con ever would just be a con with a lot of cool people, food and fun. I'm easy to please haha.

I go just to see friends. I also tend to visit the Guest of Honor panels, especially at Anthrocon, as they almost always get someone from outside the fandom to come have fun with us. So in that case, lots of friends and great guests would make a terrific con. :)

Anthrocon is the biggest, but also probably the most expensive. It's large enough that the pace is kind of crazy and it's difficult to spend much time with anyone. If you want to see a ton of people, do AC; if you'd like to spend more time speaking with people and having some down time, I'd do a smaller con. MFF is not small, but is a great and well-run convention.

The best thing to do is walk around see all that the con has to offer and also see all the awesome cosplayers.

You should totally go to the San Diego Comic Con.

People watching and Artist Alley are my favorite parts of con! And just the whole feel of the place, I can't even properly describe it... I have terrible social and crowd anxieties, but they melt away when I'm at con and it's just fantastic and upbeat and something interesting is always going down, it's amazing ^^ I also love throwing money at artists, since I rarely do so anywhere/time else, it's really nice <33

If you went to a con it would be really cool if you could go to a Minnesota convention! We have a few bigger ones and some smaller ones as well, we also have different kinds of cons. This year we actually have two first year cons (So they'll be lots smaller) which is a first year MLP convention (MLP MSP) and a first year furry convention (Furry Migration) as well as Anime Detour in Spring (just past) and CONvergence over 4th of July weekend, AD and CONvergence are both larger cons, getting between 4,000-5,000+ people ^^

Then, of course! There's MFF which is a bigger fur con (right in the area as well, though not in MN) which I'm such a lot of people would adore if you'd attend, especially in artist alley ^^

I'd love to get some of your work if you showed up at a con I was going to <3

I hope you can find one that appeals to you, and even more, that you can pull everything together to be able to go as well!

Conventions mostly are to see people you don't get to often. Smaller cons tend to be better in my opinion. You don't have to slog threw huge lines and crowds of people. The smaller ones I find you can actually find people. Love it when you can really chat, at least a few minutes with a artist you've been admiring for years. I definitely buy more from artists who seem interested in any questions (not the creepy kind of questions) you have.

I used to go to FurFright in Connecticut but that's closed down, being replaced with another convention at the same hotel and time. Though I can't remember its name.

Meeting the people I talk to over Steam/Skype is incredibly pleasant; going broke on all the novelties, that too.

I plan to head to Rainfurrest to meet someone rather special~
He's a big fan of ye' an' would probably be more than excited if ye' happened to be there x3

Furry Fiesta was fun, and we will be attending again next year. Lots of cool people there and a good mix of local artist and some popufur artist. I really enjoy cons most when I can meet like minded people. If you want to go there and need a little help I'm sure that your fans would be willing to help you.

BLFC, because I can drink EVERYWHERE.

Mid West Fur Fest is my favorite con. it was also my first. i got to meet wonderful artists and people there.

MWFF is also the second largest furry convention. so hopefully i will see you there in the future. <:3

I go to Midwest Fur Fest (MFF) and Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA)!
At furry conventions the thing I like to see most are fun things to do with people provided by the con. I like video game rooms and boardgame/card game rooms where you can play with other people and friends can have fun together! XD

Midwest Fur Fest is fairly large... and it happens in December ^^ Maybe you could consider going to that at the end of this year! XD

BTW MFF is in Chicago, IL and FWA is in Atlanta, GA
