Fursuit maker rant

Alright so I commissioned a Fursuit maker near 4-5 years ago. And haven't received a suit. I know he is still alive and active as I see him making suits. Last year about December I finally received a head sculpt of my character... Bit the bad thing is this wasn't what I originally commissioned for.
I commissioned for a full body of my character and 2 years ago he said that due to price increases what I paid, and my contract was no longer valid towards what I was asking for. I asked for a refund and he would only refund 250$ of the 1500$ I paid to him. He claims I only paid him 800 or some bs like that.
So he forced me to settle on just a head of my character and that was two years ago. So back in December I finally get a head sculpt picture and when I asked how long till I get it in the mail I was told that there was currently no more time to work on my Fursuit, that furring one head takes between 2-3 months and that I would be put on the back burner again.
I want my head! I want some sort of an update on my head. I send emails and get no response. I feel like they are avoiding me. I paid the money for my head and I demand that the head be finished.

k first, i dont know how you've had the patience to wait 4-5 yrs. i wouldve snapped a lot sooner fbdj
second, how did you pay him? through paypal, a money order, direct bank transfer, etc.? i know that if you paid him through paypal, there should still be a receipt of some sort in your "sent money" history. it might take a bit of digging but it should still be there.
if you can find it, then he cant say jack shit about "you only paid $800". and about your contract no longer being valid? WHAT CAUSE IT TO BE THAT?!?!
third, "there was currently no more time to work on my Fursuit, that furring one head takes between 2-3 months and that I would be put on the back burner again." is utter bullshit, because it doesnt take more than a week TOPS to fur up a mask AND it's details
and fourth, if you REALLY want to bring this to the public, i would highly suggest you to write a review about this whole thing on
this miiiiight help you out financially, but if anything, it can help bring out the true nature of the artist's bull shittery

but if you were to consider taking a refund, you'd definitely have to look into all of the emails you two have sent each other, and see if there's anything you can use against him
