Acen, Commission Updates, Bronycon Badges, and Auction

Just got back from Acen earlier today.
The con was okay. Three main things were bad. Firstly two times people attempted to insult me for being a furry. The first not so bad. The second was annoying. Tried not to let it get to me, but I heard their entire conversation of how furries ruin anime cons and such. When they realized I heard them and that I was talking to my friend about it, they're the ones who had the audacity to get pissed about it. Really? Like...you're gonna talk smack about me within earshot of me and you want to get angry about it?! Furries are ruining the con? Not from where I'm standing. It's people who inject negativity into a fun and lighthearted space who are ruining the con.
But also some good things!
Firstly, I got to meet and talk with one of my favorite cosplayers, Brichibi Cosplay. She's such a sweetheart and genuinely kind and wonderful person! Bought one of her books and a Free! Iwatobi Swim Club wood block painting from her. Second, I got to meet and talk with Malcolm Ray. If you watch Nostalgia Critic, he plays the devil in some of the episodes, as well as Black Willy Wonka (probably my favorite XD) and a ton of other characters. He's also really nice and it was great running into him! Also got to see a Final Fantasy orchestral concert which was really beautiful.
So now that I'm back I'm working more on getting through these last few commissions. I don't want to rush them and create an image that is less that what I can do. At the same time, some of these images have been taking a while and I would definitely like to have the queue cleared before Bronycon (earlier than that even if possible). Currently gonna try to finish up Kellster Kitten's badge and the linework for Tekuryuu within the week since these are things I've started on.
Also within the next week or two I'd like to open up for a few badges for preorder for Bronycon. So if you're going or know someone who's going, I'd love to make a badge for you all! I'm aiming to have an example badge done within a week or two so I'll post more info once the example is made.
Also I'll be posting info on the sketchbook auction I mentioned a little later in the week so keep your eyes open for that! Again it'll start at $175 for a fully filled 80 page, hardcover sketchbook.
