Paypal help... Pwease? :3
So, I have a paypal account and have made plenty of payments from it to get the artwork I have.
I'm curious as to what I would have to do to start accepting payments for Adopts and such.
Currently, my paypal is a personal account, but I've seen there's a free business account thing.
Would I have to make a business account? And should transactions be done with invoices, Money Requests,
or giving someone my paypal to send the payment to?(How I usually pay for work)
Also, I've seen a lot of this Goods vs Services stuff floating around...
What's the difference and which is are like commissions and adopts?
If you could answer ALL of these questions, that would be most helpful.
Even if you only know the answer to some of them... Please Help me! D:
I use my paypal for people to send me money and I've never done anything to swap it from being personal to business.
I'd select something like "Goods/Services" when they send you money (making them pay the additional fee, naturally) or as a "Gift".
However selecting gift excessively when receiving payments from multiple people can seem a bit fishy to them resulting in an account block which is why people tend to use Goods instead.
Hope that's the answer you were looking for :)
Also, Make sure the country you reside in is able to withdrawal a paypal balance to your credit card. Because money goes to your paypal balance first, then you have to forward it to your personal credit card.
