My father just went to the hospital with a severe pain in his right side. We think it might be appendicitis. More information as I get it.
Update 1: We now think it might be kidney stones. That's all I know right now.
Update 2: You can throw possible inflammation of the pancreas in there, too.
Update 3: My dad is back from the hospital. We're not sure if the stone's passed yet but the pain has apparently gone away. Also: the inflammation of the pancreas was apparently a false positive. So that's a relief.

Thank you. I just called my mother who went with him. The prognosis now seems to be kidney stones.
