At last...

Finally, after 5 years, I graduate from university with a bachelor degree on animation and digital art. This journey has had it's ups and downs, as it should have, but in the end all the all nighters, stress and lots of coffee drinking were well worth it. Now the real challenge begins! But not all was bad stuff. I met my best friends during this period, so I had some people to rely on during the hard times.
On a side note, from April 30 to May 4, I worked as a staff member on CreativaFest, an animation and videogame industry event here in Mexico City. And by being staff, I managed to chat with some of the speakers:
*Ron Husband: Retired Disney Animator with aprox 30 years experience.
*Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh: Co-creator of Phineas and Ferb
*Armand Serrano: Visual development artist
*All the awesome artists from Ka-boom Studio
It was incredible to talk to all these incredibly talented people, and all the tips they gave us. I'll try to start applying them to my art.
I also got the autograph of Dean Cundey on a Jurassic Park tour vehicle card.
A small update on my 777 project. I'm almost done with the exterior model. all the flight surfaces have been modeled and cut. I need to fix a little thing on the wing. The main landing gear well and doors are ready. Next up... Nose gear doors and well, engine and pylon, flaps fairings, and landing gear. After that, I'll proceed to add the antennas, exterior lights sensors and windshield wipers. Then, after some exterior renders, it's interior modelling time...
Hope you have a great summer!
