A little clarification on things
Just gonna make a quick journal here since I've had a few matters asked of me recently. Gonna explain things and for those diehard fans of mine (whoops, I don't got those, nvm) some more Spencer-related knowledge/trivia~
Q) Spencer never watches anyone on FA?
A) The quickest and dirty answer is that I'm too lazy to go through thousands of submissions, journals, and etc. things.
In longer answer terms, I have a huge, HUGE organization problem, that carries into many fields, be it from my clothes upkeep, my computer files and folders, or just about anything. I have an odd OCD to make things nice and neat, and I tend to check FA often and like to have my 'new messages' count at 0. ...you can imagine how much time I'd end up wasting checking FA every 5 minutes to find 3 new submissions and 5 journals, and even more time by checking what all submissions and journals were posted; I'd never get anything done at that pace.
And for my friends and close contacts, I check their pages often enough anyway.
So to be fair, I don't watch anyone. I DO bookmark people's pages I like to check often, but that's on my own time, when I got the spare time to check around and such.
Q) What's a Spencer's living conditions like/are you in super bad need of money?
A) As everyone knows, I tend to post a PWYW commission picture reminder often, and have some people think that I'm in super-dire need of money.
While true to some extent, as of the moment, I do have some savings built up, thanks to everyone's generousity (never would have expected such wild variations in the pay what you want system!) and while I do continue to look for more customers, I'm not in as bad of a situation as I was, say, months ago when I was literally on the verge of debt.
I live on my grandparent's land, and spend about full-time hours upkeeping their acres of yard, mowing, weedeating, digging and filling holes, helping plant flowers, etc. offjobs.
All my bills put together, electricity, internet, and occasionally 'rent', I tend to need from $150-200 a month to keep myself in a generally liveable situation. I got about $350 saved up right now with all my customer's help. <3
I do hope that I'll find an actual job soon enough, and spend at least a day every week going about checking employers out, but for now I still depend on drawing art for payer's choice, so please don't be too worried/offended about me submitting my PWYW reminder often.
Q) Daily art flood days missed/skipped?
A) Due to the nature of how some days can work out, I might end up super busy with commission work, yardwork, driving around town trying to find a workplace opportunity, or a mix of those and other things such as very bad weather (our internet service drops very easily in even mild rain), can make me miss day(s) in posting daily.
So don't worry too hard, I'll continue to post as much as I can, when I can~ ^^
Q) Skype contact/you removed me from Skype?
A) I recently had a huge Skype contact purge, but it was not personal for many of the ones I removed.
Again, my type of OCD has me organize things weirdly, and I had noticed that almost three quarters of my 100-ish Skype contacts had not even talked to me in the last week/month/year(s).
As for people who ask and want to add me to Skype, generally it isn't worth it. I'm usually difficult to hold a conversation with, and as I tell everyone, I don't RP/Roleplay, so the things that we can usually do is very minimal. And I felt bad enough removing a ton of people, I don't wanna make a habit of it.
Still, if you do want to add me to Skype, please know that I'd like to be adding you knowing that we have more in common than just 'we both like vore' or 'want to say hi'. ^^;
Q) Games you play/steam?
A) I've been asked this a few times. At the moment, I have no major game/MMORPG investments. I have been playing a bit of Dungeon Defenders via Skype, but I don't got many other games going right now.
If you know of a game or MMO that you'd like to see me get on/play with you, I'm always available for suggestions. :3
Q) Why do you never RP?
A) To put it bluntly...roleplaying bores me.
It feels like work I don't get paid to do. It's just not fun for me to type lots of text about things that happen, and I much prefer drawing things that happen. Hince why I draw so much!
Q) PWYW limits?
A) Some have mentioned if I have any limitations on my pay what you want commissions.
Well, as the title so speaks, it is pay what you want, and I try my best to not be the kind of person who asks for a minimum price to it, but I do have some limits, so for those who read, and possibly as a self referance I can guide people to, let me name a few things out;
- There is no subject that is off limits when it comes to what I will draw for you, but keep in mind things that I have never drawn before, such as fetishes I have never touched, or general adultish anatomy, will probably not look as...erotic as you may hope it to be. Also, any actual characters you want included, I will need written consent from them, via an FA note.
- For people who want to pay $1 or less, the best I can do is a quick doodle. It gives me a bad taste in my mouth when somebody tries to get multiple pictures/series and offers me $.50 per part, or something. I don't have any problem doing $1 doodles, but those will likely be one-time drawings, and complex characters would likely be drawn less complex.
- I try to avoid comics or lengthy sequences due to how much time they take vs. pictures, before-after images, or very simple sequences. I 'can' try larger comics, but I will likely try to ask for a larger donation and ask you to be very, very patient with how long it will take me to do.
- There is -no- limit to how many times you can re-commission me.
RossMallo is a good example of this - He generally pays me $3-4 per picture, and you all have seen the dozens of images I've done for him.
- The general waiting period I try to keep less than a week, but on good days I can try to return a picture within 24 hours, and small sequences within 2-3 days. Larger comics that get asked for...I try to wrap them up in a month's time. Pictures and comics that take more time than anticipated I try to show previews to, to show they're not forgotten.
- I can fix color mistakes, markings, and other character based details, but I will generally not re-draw an entire image unless it's a special circumstance.
I hope that sums up any questions people may have regarding my pay what you want commissions. X3
Q) Open for trades?
A) Almost always. I love art of my character, as obvious as it is. <3 I rarely turn down art trades, but commissions are first and foremost, so on very busy commissioning days it may take longer to do my half.
Q) How come you rarely comment?
A) Partly my OCD to blame in zapping recent updates, also part that I sometimes find it hard to make a unique comment back.
I think that's about everything that's been asked of me and on my mind recently. Feel free to make a comment with your own questions if you want. X3

I guess it's good living on your grandparent's land. You're around people you know, and doing oddball jobs keeps you versatile~
With all the days recently you've posted arts here in floods, I'd say you get a lot more comissions than I ever think. I guess since they are so affordable, evryone wants one...that and seeing how much there is of your character you draw frequently as well...and gifts too...the list could go on forever really X3 Point is, you must draw a lot. Does it make any trouble balancing out everything else in life?
You never rarely comment, you seem to comment a lot to me =3
It's nice to have any place at all to live with, though it's not quite as dreamy a position as you make it out to be; my grandparents are rather harsh at times, which is most of the time.
Actually, my commissions have slowed down a fair tad, which is a bit scary. I do draw quite a bit, but I enjoy drawing, if anything it helps me keep my sanity and balance in life.
And it helps sometimes when there's more unique comments. XP
