This journal will be the FAQ for IMVU and this group!
What is IMVU?
IMVU (Instant Messaging Virtual Universe) is a 3D chat program and social network similar to Second Life.
What can I do on IMVU?
On IMVU you can meet new people, role play, dress up your avatar, or anything else you can imagine (as long as it followes the IMVU ToS of course).
Can I be a furry on IMVU?
Yes, you can! IMVU has a decent sized furry community and many of the community members are developers who create items for the IMVU catalog. Meaning you can purchase outfits to have a furry look.
Can I be my fursona on IMVU?
Yes, there is plenty of furry devs who accept commissions for custom made fursets.
Will IMVU cost money to use?
No, IMVU is free to use. However, there are some things you may wish to spend your money on including, marriage packages, credits, guest removal, and name changes. But spending money is entirely optional and you can still have a great time without spending a dime!
Where can I find this IMVU?
Just head on over to IMVU.com and create an account. You will have to download the client afterward to start chatting with people.
Can I join the group?
Anyone who uses and enjoys IMVU is free to join this group. Simply watch the group, add us to your profile, and you'll be a part of the group. However, if you want to be added to the member listing, you will need to note us.
Can I submit screenshots to the group?
We currently have no plans on allowing people to submit screenshots to the group. However, we do allow developers to make advertisements to be submitted into this groups gallery. Click here for information
