In all honesty, I don't mind if other people take the slots because I've already gotten one from you, which I still enjoy looking at, and I'm happy to let other people get some art from you if they're first time buyers from you.

The main reason I have fixed spots is because I know I will be busy. I don't want the queue to be too long and thus I want to finish some first, then go on with others~

I don't think I've ever known of an artist that works like you do. Every artist takes fixed numbers and its really hard to catch them due to timezones or just missing out because I'd check at the wrong times. That or they do nothing but the YCH auctions which I don't really like for some reason. I really like your way of giving everyone an opportunity to buy art from you, and I wish other artists would do the same thing. :3

I also love how you use trello so that all those who have bought a commission from you can see the progress. Something that I really appreciate is being able to see the art as its being made, step by step.

Reserve is fine. The reason I have fixed spots is for faster turnover only. If people are willing to wait with a reserved spot, them why not~
