Stylus not responding...

Commission queue Trello board: https://trello.com/b/sEYNXMHt/art-commissions
I was working on a picture today and I started to notice some jerkiness with my stylus.
I tried to plug it in, figuring it was the battery though I frequently kept it plugged in normally when not in use.
A moment ago, it stopped being able to detect anything. At all.
I plugged it in, just in case it's the battery and it shows as charging for a few second then the light goes out.
I'm a bit worried, maybe it's nothing bad... but I will see tomorrow. I've already ordered a second pen from monoprice. I really really really hope it's just something like the battery just needing to recharge and the light going out is just a bad connector or something. But now I am heavily worried about my ability to do digital art if my stylus indeed just died on me.
A secondary backup stylus has been ordered anyway, just in case. But if something indeed die, I sincerely hope that is indeed the stylus and not the tablet's own ability to actually detect one.
So really do not want to deal with this today. Last week was extremely slow with higher expenses than expected. My only/main income dying on me is really what I want to deal with right now.
Edit:
Decided to order two pens. Just in case.
But sincerely, I am praying that whatever issue this might be is indeed just the pen if it is indeed more than just a case of the battery not having been as charged than I thought.
Especially as this is a level of expenses, with expenses I had to deal with last week, that I really would have preferred not to do.
I will try to see if my brother's printer's scanner work, in case I do need to find another option to produces commissions because, seriously, I will need the money.

I've been with wacom so I don't have any experience with monoprice but hopefully it was just the pen that went bad. I know for my tablet the pens are pricey to replace :(
Just frustrated because it was not even a month ago that they had finally brought out a proper functional driver for windows, that seemed to work like an utter charm until this happens. I'm plugging in the tablet in my laptop anyway to see if it indeed is a problem with the tablet/pen or my desktop. If it proves to be the tablet or pen, I'm praying it's just the 20-30$ pen and not the 400$ tablet.
