What software do you use ?

Hey all, It's been a long time. Sorry I haven't posed anything in a while, had university stuff tiring me out.
I'm here to ask one simple question. What software do you use ? I used Photoshop CS6, but it has its tedious moments during the coloring stage where i have to go all color within the lines style, but i think there might be a better way. Not to mention that my line work is messy as hell despite my efforts at making quick clean strokes.
I just want to make sure if there are more popular software or techniques i could tryout.
Seriously, if you can show me a way to color line art with base colors quickly you'd help me out a lot !

While I'm not familiar of the way people use other software for filling and flat-coloring, turning aliasing off and using the fill tool seems to work the best... or if you'd like to get fancier, selection-tooling that empty space and filling it all in without need of concern over going outside the lines.
