We have closure
I received the phone call I've been waiting for awhile now from my mother today: the final coroner's report on my father death.
Apparently he was riddled with cancer of the lymph nodes. We were all surprised frankly at this. Somehow we'd always figured it was a heart problem. The doctor's are still shocked that he went as fast as he did. The do believe that a lymph node ruptured and released the poison into his system and that caused the renal failure.
I feel however that he would've wanted to go this fast. He'd always had a fear of lingering and sinking into dementia and mentioned several times that he never wanted to end up that way.
Now I can only wait until my mother can move into my city. We'll be living together again and frankly I think the move will do her good. All our family and friends are here and sooner she moves here, the better.

Be well and look after your mother.

I do have one item I'm dreading. At some point I'm gonna have to go through the answering machine and I'm sure there's a couple of messages from him on there. I'm really not looking forward to hearing his voice as I'm sure it's gonna be tough.
*hugs ya* I hope that it is not as painful as you fear.
