So Levar Burton has launched a Kickstarter to drastically improve the app in place to replicate the benefits of the old show "Reading Rainbow" on public access TV and provide access to many schools in need. I gotta support this in full attitude, both as a lover of reading and writing, and a star trek fan. Hopefully this becomes an awesome thing.
Edit: its been funded, holy cow but still any money helps. I didn't think it would happen that fast
