I've gotten the same way and honestly, I'm in the same boat. This is pretty much why I've been sending you a few sketches that I haven't bothered posting. I get enjoyment drawing for others because I feel that it would be better appreciated by someone that would appreciate it, ya know?

But I personally think the lack of attention and comments come from the huge amount of users on the site. It doesn't help that with so many users uploading art on this site at any given time, a lot of work gets over shadowed by the masses of uploads that quickly fall off the first page. Its nobodies fault really.

I'm not saying to not upload or show only certain people your art or anything. Just kinda shedding some light on the matter.

Sure. I nearly quit drawing altogether. I didn't feel people were that interested or that my style really stood out... but I persevered. I always liked doing gifts for friends so I started doing some of those mixed in with fan art. Lately it's been commissions since I still need help with medical expenses. But I've always been someone who got those few and far between.

oh honey, don't worry about me. I just hit a low and was just spilling my guts on random topics. Stupid depression lows.
