im looking for a Nostepinne (nest stick) that doesnt look like a dildo. preferably with a nice handle. something along these lines.

they are used to make center pull skeins of yarn. there are other ways to make them but this is the only method if tried where the skein doesn't collapse in on itself and get all tangled. they are especially usefull when spinning your own yarn. im not at that stage YET, but i HATE when my yarn tangles. i am not nearly patient enough to sit there and untangle 3 pounds of yarn.

oh cool! they are just pretty neat looking to me. yeah, yarn tangling, hate it.
