No matter what the situation, I could never want someone I love to die, I could never make that choice, knowing that their blood would forever be on my hands.

And the pain would be enormous, I would rather that someone I love live. Because if our love is strong enough, we'll find our way back to each other, someday, no matter how long it may take. After all, we can only do anything as long as we are alive.

Well, If it was true love, you would want him with the other woman (hear me out); while true love surpasses even death, would you really be able to give up the want and possibility of the mortal touch; that which would let you know the love is still there, alive, warm and waiting. I don't think she would let him die for that reason, even if the other woman is a bitch (the other woman can be dealt with).

But it may not make that Fem, If may not make them happy if they see the one they love suffer becuase they are happy.

Let me put it this way. If you loved your mate so much that you moved to be there with him/her and you left everything you had behind so that he/she could be happy. But in the other hard with you giving up everything to be there it make your mate feel bad becuase you had to give up everything so that he/she could be happy.

I have to disagree. While logic may not ALWAYS work in any given situation, knowing the variables and elements of your surroundings enables one to make a decision with many results later. It's only "easy" because you avoid the worst case scenario of this current event and you're fully aware of what you want.

If the princess chooses for him to live, she doesn't lose on her opportunity of love by casting him to another woman...you'd have to be an idiot, imo, to let your heart befuddle your mind for someone else. Just personal experience...

How ever many chances it takes for one or both to realize that it will work or that it won't work. With every chance, the lines of love get a little less fuzzy, though they never come into focus.
Some chances are over with the first, some with the second, and some just go on and on and on. Sooner or later one should be able to see weather or not the chances are well spent or wasted and can go from there.
Love is simple, defining it is impossible.

Hm, well, if this was the case, and if YOU were in love with the slave, I'd say to let him live, and let him marry you.

But if you have fallen for a man, no matter what he is, and you love him too much to not care what he is, I would say that you'd let him live and marry him,if this were the case.

Ah, Frank Stockton's classic tale of morality, "The Tiger or the Lady."

A friend of mine wrote an exceptionally beautiful ending to that story.
Personally, I would choose the tiger. ;)

Assuming you love him, I'd give him to another rather than watch him die.

Its an easy solution. It shouldnt be up to the princess who lives or dies! She didnt create that life. Its not right for her to try and make that descision. Its gods choice. Taking a life is a hard thing to do, but deciding to take that life because of jealousy issues is just plain wrong.

I'd let the other brud take slave. Wtf, I'm a princess. There's no way I'm going to marry some dirty, illiterate peon. :|

To let him be eaten by tigers would take the "If i can't have you, no one can" approach, but letting him live would make him live, and be married, with someone he may not truly love.
In a matter of love, I'd let him live, if only to live out his life happy (hopefully) with another women.

I would most certainly choose to allow him to live, even if it's painful, life is not worth living without love, to choose to let him die out of spite, jealousy, greed, would only make me feel worse about myself...
Even if one would feels hurt at having love slip through their grasp in such a way, the future is open, and one could not say that she would be guaranteed a painful life if she could not be with him, with one choice, she would have the guilt and trauma of having to see him torn to shreds by her command, on the other hand, letting him live, she would not think of herself as a horrible person because of it, though for a while she would probably be sad, but she would get over it eventually, and be happy again someday.

So you were in love in the past but for some reason you want to forget him by being punished or have someone else, think about it, what if you were the slave, wouldnt be nice if you had a secod chance to be happy, a chance to learn from your mistakes and once matured and with knowledge, be able to restart from 0 but this time without mistakes. You know, loosing someone is easy but recovering its the hardest part cuz you now gonna cure a deep scar that will take years to cure. So choose carefully.

Yeah, I think it's better to give him away and live and let live. Inless it's really how you feel. Some time vengeance feels wonderful, but the moment doesn't last forever even if it makes you smile for a little bit. Its really your call.
