Fuzzy in Surgery

Well, one of our little fuzzbums is out having surgery today. We noticed a little growth on Pudge's front leg and took him to the vet to check it out. Luckily these little mast cells that ferrets sometimes get are almost never malignant...they just like growing extra skin for some reason. The vet also noticed a little tumor looking thing on the nictitating membrane (I had no idea ferrets had those!) of his eye. That concerned him a little bit more, but he said he'd have the surgeon look at it.
*sigh* So now poor Sly is all alone in his cage. Its handy that the surgeon had enough time to squeeze Pudge in today so we don't have to make another appointment. He's not gonna be a happy boy when he comes home though.

But everything's groovy now. Hopefully it'll turn out well for Pudge, and he won't be too distraught.
Dang... the stupid thing had only cost $5 when we got it.
