Y'all probably get sick of these car updates.

But I don't.
My big focus is on the car. Car car car.
I picked up my carb and intake, holley 600cfm electrics choke. It's about 50-100cfm less than I was planning on. And I was hoping for a manual choke but choosers can't be beggy. And I'm definenently in the beggin category so I can't be choosy.
I'm goin to try and straight trade my lunati 60104lk cam/lifter kit for a comp 12-242-2 which is much more streetable. As in ill be able to have vacume to run power brakes and be able to drive under 3000 rpm.
This means ill be able to go slower than Mach 2 in a school zone and not plow into a bus full of children and grandmothers.
I've yet to pick up the Mallory fuel pressure regulator(100) the timing chain(50ish) the damn brackets that bolt to the water pump because the damn ported and polished heads aren't drilled and tapped for brackets because they're so damn old (300). 180 if I don't want air conditioning, but I do.
I need to pay the machine shop for a cleanup deck on the heads and possibly hardened valve seats (100-500) and after that ill need to re-calculate static compression ratio and calculate what thickness of head gasket I need, (50-120)
And then ill have all my motor build parts.
Then its on to the pulling and rigging the motor to work and making the pretty 140mph gage cluster work.
Throw the smoked taillights on there. Rig the torque converter lockup to a switch. Rig the radiator fan to a switch. Rig the electric choke to a switch.
Then I'm gunna label em. Awesome stuff. Like missiles. And self destruct. And do not press. Or something stupid like that.
I'm going to try and rig the guages to work without the PCM getting any data. Which shouldnt be too hard. I have to re-pin the cluster connector a anyways with the cluster swap. But if not I get to rig up some cool auto meter guage banks.
Soooo that's my life now.
Make sandwiches. Eat ramen. Don't buy anything. I haven't even bought ammo in over six months. Put all scraped money into a drawer and dream of the awesome stuff ill buy later. Count the money in the drawer and realize I'm really poor. Continue to eat bologna sandwiches.
The things I do for love. This is a bit more than a hobby. It's more of an obsession.
And to show up that mechanic at work who thinks his 2008ish srt4 neon with a cat back is hot shit.
And it'll be fun too. Blasting around in my car again. Driving topless. Oh and ill need t-top weatherstripping 200 some bucks. But I'll be able to afford it now.
