Motivation is useless for art.
Use discipline instead.
It may not feel as engaging but it certainly gets shit done.

One of my biggest motivations is to show people my ideas. I guess it may be a little selfish, but I just want to show everyone the things that I come up with. I want people to be impressed with my ideas. It gives me a sense of gratification. It guess I'm basically just a show off. Not with my art, but with my ideas.

The biggest reason I draw is to show others. To get praise. It makes me feel like I matter. Like I have something to give that makes me have value. Like no one would like me if I didn't have something to contribute. If it weren't for my art, no one would give me the time of day, as the saying goes. I draw because it makes me feel like I matter.

I know this probably didn't help, but it was worth a shot right?

I don't really 'get motivation.' I just draw my ideas whenever I feel like drawing them. I wind up having more ideas yet to have been drawn than those that actually do get drawn.
This is probably not very useful or straightforward, but that's how it is for me.

Draw whatever you want, anything that comes to mind. look up favorite artist and study how they drew it.
