As much of an X-men fan as I am... an Storm has always been m'favorite (sorry all you Wolverine lovers) but Storm, especially back in her earliest years after havin' just joined the X-men was pretty much a role model fer me growin' up as a kid... an no it wasn't just about her ability ta control the weather... She was peaceful and serene... She was so intuned with nature and was originally aborant ta harmin' anything if she could help it... She kept her attic space at Xavier's filled with plants and would often go around naked and give herself an her plants small rainstorms.

She was so uninhibited in fact that she was sometimes depicted with the other X-men havin' ta remind her that "Uhmm... Storm... your in public girl, ya need ta wear clothes!"

Over the years of readin' the comics an then watchin' the movies an such, I've seen her evolve same as everyone else... an yeah Halle Berry was the biggest new blacktress ta draw in the crowds at the box office. But personally I can think of at least two actresses who would'a made a MUCH better Storm!

1.) Angela Basset! Face it, she definitely has 'the look' and attitude of portraying Storm WAY better than Halle Berry... I almost can't even watch her portraying any other role in any movie or TV series without thinkin' she reminds me of Storm.

2.) Gina Torres! She is another actress who I feel that every time I've seen her... in no matter what role she portrayed... would have made a much better choice as Storm

Both these actresses would at the very least remember that Storm came from Africa and would have at least kept ta the role of at least havin' her speak with an african accent!... an both actresses are no strangers ta doin' 'high-action' characters... so sorry Halle... much as I may like ya playin' other characters in movies I'll never forgive ya fer butcherin' Storm!
